As the rest of you have no doubt noticed, I’m beginning to realize that I haven’t had much time for my blog lately. In fact I’m finding that I can rarely do more than quickly skim the gymnastics blogs in my google reader, wishing I could pour over some of the youtube videos of cool bar mounts, before I have to rush back to working or caring for my eight-month-old.
With that said, I’m not quite ready to throw in the towel but I will officially be on hiatus for awhile. Perfect10 will stay up but I won’t be posting save for the occasional burst of inspiration and free time that happen to strike at the same moment.
I’ve had some requests from guest writers and I’m happy to entertain those if you are interested in writing an occasional piece but don’t want to start a blog of your own.
So long for now,
Nance

No doubt you’ll be inspired sometimes in the future to post.

It’s sad to read this entry, but I’m sure we all understand. Best wishes.
I will keep Perfect10 in my feed reader for sure.

Too bad about disconinuing your blog. It is hard to find decent gymnastics information from a personal view out there. Looking forward to your return.
Cheers, and enjoy the break.

Nance, it sure seems like you have a bunch of folks that loved following your site. I am the father of 9 (nine…yes, you read that correctly) little ones and I know how much time they can take. I am also a professional competitive gymnastics coach with more that 20 years of experience in the sport. When you are ready to start posting again I would be glad to help you out by guest writing every now and then.

It will be a shame you are going inactive for a while as I did enjoy reading your blog, but thankyou for contributing to the community. If you need someone to help write articles I can write some and send them over to you as it would be a shame for this blog to go down.

I understand about the time it takes to raise your children. I took about 10 years off but since all 5 of my kids are out of diapers now I’ve decided to get back in the gym. I’ll be competing on rings this weekend at the Rocky Mountain Open.
