I agree with your picks and there is such an array of combinations and unique skills to pick from. I think Anna Pavlova’s beam combination of full twisting back handspring (sideways on the beam) and going into a back hip circle is awesome.
As well as Elena Gomez’s (from spain)quadruple turn to popa on floor that she performed in Debrecen, Hungary at World’s. was pretty unique and beautiful to watch.

You’re right, Melvin. Pavlova’s combo is amazing! She does a front aerial, side somi, 1/1 bhs to back hip circle. And she actually connects it well. It definitely deserves mention.
Gomez’s quadruple turn to Popa was actually done at the Anaheim Worlds (2003) in the Floor finals. It was also gorgeous. It’s too bad she didn’t do it on purpose! She has had some difficulty repeating the feat.

What about Carly Patterson’s ro bhs arabian double front on beam? When she stuck it during the olympic aa, it was amazing.

That’s also a good pick, Emma. You’re right - when she stuck it at during the All Around Finals in Athens, it was absolutely incredible.

OMG CARLY PATTERSONS roundoff, back handspring, Arabian double front WAS SWEET!
